Form builder field types

The custom field types available in the Onboard B2B form builder, what each one is for, and which Shopify metafield type it saves to.

Custom fields (found in the Custom section of the form builder) let you collect any additional information you need, and save each answer to a Shopify metafield. Each field type saves to one metafield type, so when you select or create a metafield definition for a custom field, it must use the matching type below.

Choices for Dropdown, Radio choices, and Multi-choice list fields

For Dropdown, Radio choices, and Multi-choice list fields, you can define options in two ways. With List of options, you enter each option manually; enable the Separate values toggle if you want the stored value to differ from the label shown to the customer. With Range of options, you define a numeric start and end to generate options automatically.

For how to add, edit, and arrange fields, see Using the form builder.
